Visit the Allegiant Air website and select the option Flight Status available on the top of the page. Fill in the details such as departure date, departure airport, arrival airport, or flight number by choosing either of the two search methods. Click on ‘Check Status.’ This will display the latest status of your flight.

There are three options to get your boarding pass printed:

Online/Web Check-In (Free):

To print your boarding pass, you can check-in online starting 24 hours before your flight by visiting Online Check-In on the Allegiant Air website.

Mobile Check-In (Free):

To obtain a paperless boarding pass, you can opt for mobile check-in by downloading the latest version of the free Allegiant App for iPhone and Android.

At the Airport ($5 per Boarding Pass):

For printing your boarding pass at the airport, you will need an agent’s assistance for which you will be charged $5 as a fee per boarding pass. If doing the check-in at the airport ticket counter, the fee will be waived off.

Baggage fees may vary depending on the route and apply to carry-on and checked bags when the bag is added to your itinerary. For sporting equipment and/or overweight and/or oversize and excess baggage, additional charges may apply. 

Per passenger, limit is two bags in the cabin, which includes one (1) personal item and one (1) carry-on bag.

Note: Please measure your bags carefully. All external dimensions include wheels, pockets, handles and decorations.

For a Carry-On Bag, certain fees apply which ranges from $10.00 to $75.00.

For Checked Bags - up to four (4) per passenger, each weighing up to 40lbs (18kilos), the baggage fee varies. Check the fee table listed here.

For Overweight Bag - 40 to 70 lbs (18.2 to 31.8 kilos), add $50.00.

For Overweight Bags - 71 to 100 lbs (32.2 to 45.4 kilos), add $75.00.

For Oversized Checked Bag - height + width + depth in excess of 80 in. (203.2 cm), add $75.00.

For Oversized Personal Item - oversized and excess carry-on baggage will be assessed an at-airport baggage fee, add $50.00 to $75.00.

For Gate -checked Bags, the fees may range between $0.00 to $75.00.

All Allegiant passengers are allowed to bring one personal item on board. There is no charge for it. But, if you choose to bring a carry-on bag and/or checked luggage, certain fees will apply. To know about the fee structure applicable as per the baggage policy, click here.

One Personal Item

A personal item can include a purse, small backpack, or briefcase. It must be stored underneath the seat in front of you. Maximum dimensions are 7 x 15 x 16 inches (17.8 x 38.1 x 40.6 centimeters).

Purchasing One Carry-On Bag (per passenger)

One carry-on bag can include a roll-aboard or garment bag which must fit in the overhead bin.

Maximum size should be 9 x 14 x 22 inches (22.9 x 35.6 x 55.9 centimeters).

Pre-Purchasing up to 4 Checked Bags (per passenger)

You can pre-purchase up to 4 checked bags, each weighing up to 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Maximum size is 80 linear inches (203 centimeters) in height + width + length.

For bags weighing more than 40 pounds, sporting equipment and/or oversize/excess baggage, additional charges will apply.

Booking Cancelation Policy

For canceling or making any changes to your booking, you can do that from the Manage Travel section. If canceling a reservation within 24 hours of purchase, you will get a full refund. And after 24 hours, any purchases made will be non-refundable.

You cannot make changes to itineraries within seven days of departure, and no credit will be issued unless you have purchased Trip Flex™.

With Trip Flex, you get the flexibility to cancel or make changes to your flight up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure. By availing this option at the time of booking, you can avoid the change fee that is up to $75 per person for each way.

The process of canceling Allegiant Air flights is very easy:

  • Visit the Manage Travel section on the website of Allegiant Air.
  • Choose one of the three methods to access your itinerary.
  • Enter the required details to fetch your bookings.

Once you have a confirmed reservation, you will receive a copy of the confirmation number online and through email. If you are unable to find it, go to Manage Travel section and access your booking by typing the last four digits of the card number you have used to make the booking.

Booking for Travel Groups

You can cancel your reservation for your Allegiant flights within 24 hours of purchase and get a full refund.

As long as the date of your scheduled flight departure is at least one week (168 hours) away from the time of booking, you can cancel your reservation online within 24 hours by visiting ‘Manage Travel’ for a full refund.

After 24 hours, purchases are not subject to a refund. But, a credit voucher for future travel will be issued for qualifying changes/cancelations.

To manage your trips, you need to log in to the Manage Travel section on the website. Access your itinerary by filling in the required details and you will be able to make changes to seats or flights, track or cancel your flights, pre-purchase bags, add a hotel room or rental car, or upgrade to Priority Access.

Another way to view and manage your bookings is by visiting the website of Allegiant Air and logging in to the myAllegiant account.

Since Allegiant is a leisure airline, all of its aircraft are equipped with a single cabin- Economy Class. But, on select flights, you can select Allegiant Extra and Legroom+ seating options that are available for purchase.

Allegiant Air welcomes only domestic dogs and cats for traveling with you on the aircraft. But you will need to pay a fee of $100.00 for each way. However, there are some restrictions with regards to the pet policy:

  • Pets are allowed within the contiguous 48 United States.
  • International destinations and U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico and San Juan may not accept all pets.
  • Only domestic dogs and cats are allowed in the cabin.

Yes, Allegiant Air offers Chargeback, its lost and found service, which allows you to report your lost items. If you have forgotten an item at the airport, hotel, in the flight, or anywhere during your trip, you can report it on their website.

  • Follow the steps and select the booking in which you want to make changes in the seat assignment.

If you haven’t already purchased a seat at the time of booking:

  • You will be assigned a seat by their system once you have done the check-in for your flight either online or at the airport.
