Late Night Check-In

Save your time by doing hassle-free late-night check-in. To avail this service, you will have to pay additional an charge of EUR 5 per traveler; however, no charges are applicable for premium economy and business class passengers. If you are doing late-night check-in, then you will have to bring your photo id proof for the verification. Please note that this service is not available for group travelers (10 or more people). Also, you will have to visit the departure gate 1 hour before the flight departing time.

Late-night check-in can be done between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; however, timings of departure on the following day vary from one airport to another. At the Airport

There are two ways to check-in at the airport.

  • Check-in Counters

Select the departure airport and find out the terminal at which the check-in counter is available. An additional charge of EUR 30 applies to economy light class travelers for checking-in at the airport. Also, check-in times in Germany depend on the traveling class and flight zones.

For Economy/ premium class (short-haul flights): Check-in facility is available between 2 hours and 45 minutes (for short-haul and medium-haul flights in Zone 1-2) before the departure.

For Economy/ Premium economy class (Long-haul flights in Zone 3-5): Check-in facility will open 2 hours before the scheduled departure (3 hours before for flights to USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) and ends 60 minutes before the departure time.

Business Class (Long-haul Flights in Zone 3-5): You can check-in 90 minutes before the final departure (120 minutes before for the flights to USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) and 60 minutes before the departure.

Please note that check-in counters outside Germany open at least 2 hours before the departure (3 hours before for the flights from USA and Canada).

Carry-on Baggage Allowance

The allowance of carry-on baggage depends on the traveling class and flight zone. Travelers can bring 1 small item of maximum dimensions 40X30X10cm and one hand-baggage of maximum dimensions 55X40X20cm.

For Zone 1-2

  • A small bag is permitted in Economy Light, Economy Class, and Premium Class.
  • Hand Baggage is not allowed in the Economy Light; however, if you are traveling in Economy or Premium Class, then you can bring 1 piece of handbag.
  • The maximum total weight of carry-on baggage can be up to 8kg for Economy Light and Economy Class and up to 10kg for Premium Class.

For Zone 3-5

  • You can take small baggage in all four traveling classes – Economy light, Economy Class, Premium Economy, and Business Class
  • 1 piece of hand baggage is allowed in Economy Light, Economy Class, and Premium Class and 2 pieces are permitted in the Business Class.

Condor Airlines allows you to cancel your flight; however, there are some rules associated with this policy that you must know before canceling your reservation.

  • You can easily cancel your flights to and from the US within 24 hours of the reservation without any penalty. Also, you can cancel your flight which is reserved 7 days or later before the flight departure only after considering cancelation and refunds policy.

Cancelation fee for Condor Airlines flight tickets depends on the time during which the flight is canceled:

Flex Rate

  • Up to 29 days before the departure of the booked flight

EUR 30 for short and medium-haul flights

EUR 60 for long haul flights

  • From 28th day to 24 hours before the flight departure of the first booked flight and previous rebooking cancelation from 28 days before the flight departure time.

EUR 30 + 25% of the fare and the Flex Relax booked (if applicable)

No refund will be given if cancelation will be done 24 hours before the departure of the first reserved flight. Also, no refund will be given to the travelers who have made reservations in basic fare and special rates.

Cancelation policy is quite different for upgrades.

  • If cancelation for Condor Comfort Class and Condor Premium Economy Class flight tickets is done 24 hours before the return flight or contractually agreed on the outbound flight, then 50% of the upgrade fee will be deducted as cancelation charges.
  • Also, you cannot cancel Condor Comfort Class and Economy Class Flight tickets on the day of your departure.

If you are looking for group cancelation, then you must consider the below-mentioned facts:

  • 20% cancelation fee will be charged to cancel group bookings from the date of fixed booking to 60 days before the flight departure.
  • 50% cancelation fee will be deducted from 59 days to 30 days before the flight departing time.
  • 70% cancelation fee from 29 days to 15 days before the departure.
  • 90% cancelation fee from 14 days to 1 day before the scheduled departure.

100% cancelation fee is applicable if cancelation is made on the same day.

Mobile Check-In

Download Condor Airlines mobile app on your Apple Smartphone and get mobile check-in done with ease. Please note that various airports don’t accept mobile boarding passes. In such cases, you can check-in online, but will have to bring the print out of your boarding pass. You can also collect your boarding pass from the check-in counter.

You need to check-in online 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure time, and this service will be available for up to 2 hours before the final departure. Late-night check-in can be done between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; however, this timeline varies for check-in via counters.

  • For Economy/ Premium Class (short-haul flights in Zone 1-2): Check-in facility is available between 2 hours and 45 minutes (for short-haul and medium-haul flights in Zone 1-2) before the departure.
  • Business Class (Long-haul Flights in Zone 3-5): You can check-in 90 minutes before the final departure (120 minutes before for the flights to USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) and 60 minutes before the departure.

  • For Economy/ Premium Economy Class (Long-haul flights in Zone 3-5): Check-in facility will open 2 hours before the scheduled departure (3 hours before for flights to USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) and ends 60 minutes before the departure time.

In addition to this, you can check-in for up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure via check-in machines.

Check-in online

You can book Condor Airlines Business Class by using the following steps:

  • Select your destination and arrival airport on the home page under the “Fly with us” section and then choose journey dates and the number of passengers to search flights.
  • On clicking search flight button, you will find numerous flights with available traveling classes.
  • Select ‘Business Class’ and proceed with the selected flight to continue flight reservation.

Furthermore, you can also upgrade to the business class.

Condor Airlines welcomes you to travel with your pet onboard. However, there are some rules and restrictions. Condor Airlines will not accept some of the dog breeds such as Pitbull Terrier, American Pitbull, Staffordshire, Mastino Napoletano, Bulldog, and a few more. There are two ways in which your pet is transported from source to destination.

Pet in the Cabin

  • The maximum size of the container in which you can carry your pet onboard is 55X40X20cm. And the weight of your animal must not exceed 8kg.
  • You will have to make reservations for your pet which is available for up to 24 hours before the flight departure.
  • You cannot bring your pet in the cabin if you’ve reserved a seat in the exit row, in the business class and seat behind the partition.
  • Only small domestic pets and dogs are allowed in the cabin.

  • To transport pets in the cargo hold, you can make reservations for up to 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
  • You will have to pay additional fees to avail this service, and this fee is based on the flight zone and dimensions of the carrier.

Yes, Condor Airlines renders lost and found service, and there is no need to worry if you’ve left something onboard.

  • All you need to do is file the complaint regarding your lost item at the lost and found center at the destination airport.
  • They have a storage period of 2 to 4 weeks after which the missing or lost item will be sent to Condor, and after that, you will not have any chance to recover your item.
  • Also, you will have to complete the lost hand luggage form. Send it either via email or through postal mail. No action will be taken regarding the lost hand baggage without this form.

Don’t worry if your child is flying alone as Condor Airlines has crafted a well-structured unaccompanied minor policy to ensure your child’s safety.

According to this unaccompanied minor policy:

  • Children below 5 years are not permitted to travel alone. They have to travel with an adult who is 16 years of age or older.
  • Children between 5 – 11 years are considered unaccompanied minors and will have to register before traveling. You can register the unaccompanied minor only on weekdays for up to 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure through the airline’s special assistance team. You will have to complete the assistance form and must bring a print out of the form to the airport.
  • Please note that unaccompanied minors are permitted to travel only on the direct routes, owing to the sake of security.
  • For a child who is between 12 – 15 years of age, registration is required; however, the assistant service option is completely optional. No registration is required for a child who is 16 years or older.

This service is available for an additional fee which depends on the flight zones.
