There are two ways to stay updated with your Emirates Airlines flight status- by visiting the homepage of the Emirates website and the Help section at the bottom of the website.

Go to the official website of Emirates, and you will see the Flight Status option. You can track the status of your flight either by Route or Flight Number.

By Route

  • Select your Departure Airport, Arrival Airport, Date, and the day for which you want to check the status (Departure/ Arrival). Click on Check Status button to find out the current flight information.

By Flight Number

  • Enter your flight number and date to check the current Emirates Airlines flight status.

You can get your boarding pass in three ways:

Online Check-In

After checking-in online, the airline will provide you with an e-boarding pass at specified departure cities. Carry-on Baggage Allowance

Carry-on baggage allowance varies with the traveling class. If you have an Economy Class ticket, you can carry the baggage of up to 7kg with maximum dimensions of 22X15X8 inches. However, if you are a First or Business Class traveler, you are allowed to carry 2 pieces that cannot exceed 7kg per piece. The maximum dimensions for a briefcase must be up to 45X35X20cm, and it shouldn’t exceed 55X38X20cm in case of handbags. Checked baggage allowance depends on the service class. Please note that the maximum sum of dimensions of the checked baggage must not be more than 300cm for weight concept and 150cm for piece concept. The maximum baggage you can carry in the Economy Class is:

  • 15kg for special fare type (25kg for flights between UAE and India)
  • 25 kg for Saver
  • 30kg for Flex
  • 35kg for Flex Plus

You are allowed to carry up to 40kg for Business Class and 50kg for the First Class.

  • You can modify your seat of the same value similar to what you’ve paid while selecting your seat. If you’ve chosen a seat of higher value, then you will have to pay the difference in the amount.
  • In case, the entire amount is deducted for the higher value seat, don’t panic as the difference will be refunded soon.
  • Moreover, if you are changing your flight number or date, then you are allowed to change the seat of the same value as paid earlier, provided you are traveling in the original sector. However, if you change the sector, then the airline will not refund anything if seat change option is not available on the new flight or if no equal value is seat is available in the new flight.
