There are multiple ways to print your Kuwait Airways boarding pass:  

At the Airport: Reach the airport 90 minutes before the scheduled time of your flight departure and proceed to Kuwait Airways departure lounge ZONE 1. Present your e-receipt to obtain your boarding pass.

Online/Mobile Check-In: This is an extended service provided to you to enable check-in through the web from most of the stations operated by Kuwait Airways.

Once you have filled the necessary details, you will receive a check-in confirmation through e-mail and an e-receipt. Take the printout of your e-receipt to get your boarding pass.

Kuwait Airways has a basic baggage policy; however, it varies according to the route and cabin class. Any oversized or overweight baggage combined exceeding the permissible limit will be charged. The charges for excess baggage depend on the region from where you are departing your flight.

Weight Limit

  • For Royal Class – 3 baggage pieces, each weighing 32 Kg.
  • For First Class – 3 baggage pieces, each weighing 32 Kg.
  • For Business Class – 2 baggage pieces, each weighing 32 Kg.
  • For Economy Class – 2 baggage pieces, each weighing 23 Kg.

Dimension Limit

  • For Royal Class – Length: 110cm, Width: 65cm, Height: 75cm
  • For First Class – Length: 110cm, Width: 65cm, Height: 75cm
  • For Business Class – Length: 90cm, Width: 65cm, Height: 75cm
  • For Economy Class – Length: 90cm, Width: 65cm, Height: 75cm

Baggage allowance varies according to the route and cabin class. In case you are carrying any liquids, aerosols, and gels, it should not exceed the capacity of one hundred milliliters (100ML) each.

As per the Kuwait Airways cancelation policy, if you make changes in your reservation, you will have to pay certain charges.

All customers traveling to and from the United States can cancel their reservation without a penalty for 24 hours, so as long as they make the reservation at least one week before their flight departure.

During circumstances like flight cancelations and over sales, the airline will refund the fees charged to a passenger for optional services that the passenger was unable to use.

All those tickets are refundable which are issued through Kuwait Airways Website/ Mobile Web/ Mobile app, and are also eligible for an online refund through Manage Booking.

Tickets will not have the option of “Cancelation” under “Manage Booking” if

  • Purchased in less than 3 days.
  • Issued by KU Sales office/ 171 /Redemption ticket please contact the nearest Kuwait Airways Sales Office.

Kuwait Airways allows you to travel with your pets. However, certain policies apply to the carriage of pets. 

  • Pets are not allowed in the passenger cabin.
  • Pets need to be carried in a pet carrier and will travel in cargo as checked baggage.
  • Passengers traveling with pets need to pay at the airport during the check-in process.
  • Passengers should carry their pet’s relevant documents like a valid Health Certificate, Vaccination Certificates, and Entry Permits.
  • Passengers traveling to and from the United States are allowed to carry Service Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs in the aircraft cabin free of charge.
  • If carrying more than one pet, then there should be a different pet container for both the pets.

Yes, Kuwait Airways allows you to make changes to your seat assignment. However, the number of times you make changes, you will have to pay charges for that.

Kuwait Airways unaccompanied minor policy ensures your child travels with utmost comfort and safety. However, there are certain rules that you need to know before booking an unaccompanied minor.

  • Unaccompanied minors between the age group of 6-12 and young flyers aged between 12-16 are not charged for this service.
  • Children between the age group of 4-5 traveling alone must be escorted by cabin attendants. Charges for this service is 50% of the normal adult fare.

The special services unit of the airline will:

  1. Travel along with the minors from immigration to the departure gates.
  2. Receive the unaccompanied traveling minors from adult relatives.
  3. Alert staff at the destined airport to take appropriate measures to receive young passengers.
